How Pricing Works

Our base pricing includes standard processing and delivery of our farm-raised meat. Pricing is based on the animal’s hanging weight at the time of slaughter.

Current base pricing listed in the wholesale information is priced by the pound for our products.

Items that require extra processing, such as brats, dried beef, tenderized steak, or pork cutlets, may have an additional fee based on the processor’s pricing.

Where Our Animals Are Butchered

All of our animals are processed at our family-owned, USDA-inspected facility, Hudson Meats and Sausage in Hudson, SD. Our family was blessed to purchase the business in early 2022, allowing us to keep our meat and business local.

Timeline for Receiving Your Meat

Wholesale orders are not available immediately. Orders are first come, first served and depend on when animals are ready and when butcher dates are available.

Hogs, lambs, and goats hang for up to a week to dry-age, which helps keep the meat tender. Beef hangs for 2–3 weeks, depending on the animal. After dry-aging, the meat is cut, wrapped, frozen, and prepared for delivery. Items that go through curing may take a little longer, so most orders are ready around 3–4 weeks after the animal enters the facility.

Ready to Get Started?

Once you submit your cut sheet, we’ll send an invoice for the deposit based on your order. Once the deposit is paid, your order is confirmed, and the deposit will be applied to your final bill. Payment plans are available upon request.
